Their remote location in the North Atlantic, clear waters, cool and steady temperatures, strong currents, and protected fjords make the Faroe Islands the ideal place for salmon. To this FANGST salmon, we have added a pinch of verbena and crushed sea buckthorn – a berry that grows on the northern coasts and is known as the “Nordic lemon”.
